Pretty cool ticket. The 1975 WS was the first that I watched from beginning to end. I remember specifically have to beg my dad to allow me to stay up past my bed time to watch game 6. He said no and I missed Fisk HR.

I have almost the exact memory of that WS, except that 1974 was the first for me (I actually went to game 5 with my dad and watched the local A's beat my (still) favorite team, the Dodgers), and I live on the west coast, so my begging after the 9th inning, then the 10th, and then the 11th was successful.

I posted this once before but its a perfect fit for this thread...

My grandmother passed away a few months ago and while going through some of her things I found a bunch of old letters that were written from her father to her mother (my great grandparents). One letter was dated October 10, 1923. When I took it out of the envelope a ticket stub to game 1 of the World Series fell out! I couldn't believe my great-grandfather went to the first World Series game at Yankee stadium. The Yanks lost to the Giants that day which made him happy as he was a huge Giants fan. He writes in the letter that he is enclosing the ticket stub and says "what a Ball Game that was".
