I know a lot of people use the registry. I catalog mine as another form of backup for insurance purposes. It's one more way to try and cover my rear. I definitely register any card, whether it's part of a specific set or not. Just don't get hooked in to the I need to beat others mentality and the registry can be a great place to look at some neat collections.

Ps - you should put up images. My set is currently in the 90s somewhere. Adam's T206 Collection

Thanks for the advice. I registered my set and then I was like whoa, maybe I should bring my average grade up. I ended up purchasing a psa 4 shad berry with a sweet cap back immediately after registering.

Anyway, my set is registered under the name Baker's Monster. I looked at your set, nice group of cards you have.
