Default For Sale: 4x 1951 Bowman WILLIE MAYS Rookies

I am selling these as a LOT and NOT individual. These were all bought with the intentions of being signed earlier this year but the signing fell thru and I have decided to sell them. They were ALL graded, except one, when I bought them and broke them out for the signing. They are all in the exact same condition as when they were encased. The grades were as follows: PSA 5 (OC), SGC 60, PSA 6 (OC) and one was raw. Asking $old for the lot,

pm/email with serious interest only,
Thank You,
Dan

thanks Bobby. Yeah yours is there but I just wanted them to get signed. If anything, I'd keep one but as always I can use the funds so hanging on to them all is pretty much out of the question, unfortunately.

Well...when the unfortunate day comes when Mr. Mays passes away, I see these cards hitting a spike.

autographs maybe....lots of players are dead that we are trading cards on...people note when people died when selling autographs...never seen anyone say when someone died when selling just a card.....though there will be interest for the week when ESPN talks about him...then he will just be another dead HOF guy..imo..

Well....If you feel froggy and want to check Ebay history, you will see I recently sold two of his 1953 cards. I had to lower them to below VCP to make them go though. The week he died, I did no such thing.

Long story short, if Dan wants to hold them or sell them now, that in entirely up to him. I can promise you this though - the week he passes, he will have people knocking down his door trying to pick them up - wishing they could get them for his asking price today!

well according to your story...he may be able to get VCP for them instead of below VCP for a week period...exciting...

Seems like they went up....they were at $6750. Would love to have them. Just not in the budget. You were going to get all (4) autographed? Was that for your collection or to sell? Seems like a risky proposition on such high dollar cards. I've held off on that set for a while. A little pricey......good luck!

1 was gonna be for my signed HOF RC collection(was gonna be an upgrade) and the rest I was gonna sell. If you saw how much signed Mays rookies go for, it wouldn't seem that risky at all, lol.
