I just picked up a fungo lathe bat of Bucky Harris from the 1930s. I also have a Red Schoendienst fungo bat from the 70s.

Default Jimmie Reese fungo bat

How about a fungo bat from 90-year-old fungo hitting wizard Jimmie Reese from his days with the California Angels?

Jimmie was Babe Ruth's roommate on the Yankees.
He was beloved by all, but especially close to Nolan Ryan and Jim Abbott.
If you never had the pleasure of watching Reese in action, he was AMAZING!

Bill --

Both the Cal Ripken fungo and the fungo photo are terrific --- what a great combo!
