Looking for Uncle Rube
Posted By: dwight davis
For many years I've searched for a T210 of my great-uncle - Eldridge, Greensboro, but no luck. He also appears on a T209, and I have a very nice one of those (thanks to Chris who posts on this board and directed me to an auction.) I've almost given up on owning his red border, just love to see a scan if anyone happens to have one. |

Looking for Uncle Rube
Posted By: leon
Dwight and I emailed today and he was a little reluctant about jumping into the fray. He asked if there are any fees and so forth....Of course I told him no (unless you are an advertiser, I guess) and to jump on in. I also let him know about the Buy/Sell/Trade threads but this is a request of finding a card of a great uncle...so, in keeping with the "we are a family" theme, I advised him to post here.....It's always good to have another lurker posting. BTW, my goal for this forum is to get back to talking about cards and the hobby and a little less of the griping/in-fighting.....I will try my best to do my part.. .....So...if anyone has: |
