Default Need Help Dating & ID'ing early Los Angeles Angels photo -Mystery Solved

Wondering if anyone can add more insight into this blank postcard size silver gelatin photo of a Los Angeles Angels player sliding into home. This particular uniform was used during the teen and twenties, that's about all I know.

Mystery solved thanks to a Net54 member with a great recollection for past auction items. While I thought it looked like Ruth, I dismissed that as coincidence. It actually is Ruth in his role in "Babe Comes Home" playing Babe Dugan of the Angels.
