My dad picked up this old scoreboard from a local high school. He convinced my mom to hang it in their living room lol.

Hey, George:

You might already know this but Henry Chadwick appears on your Leslie's piece as well as Creighton.

Hi Phil,
A few years back, I recall learning that Chadwick was depicted in this woodcut. Actually, I think you were the one who told me about it!

Bill, I'll keep an eye out for you. While that particular woodcut doesn't come up for sale often, it's not as scarce as other publications although does sell at a premium. I've seen a few come up for sale this year.

Adam Comorosky game worn pants. I'm guessing they're from his time either with the Pirates based on the sporting goods company is the one formed by Wagner and Traynor.

Also pretty cool that the Pirates would have them make some part of their uniform instead of sticking with Spalding.

Default Full, unused ticket to the 1st game ever played at Anaheim Stadium

I recently picked up a full, unused ticket to the very 1st game ever played at Anaheim Stadium, the home of the Angels.
On April 9th, 1966 the hometown California Angels hosted the SF Giants in the first game of a two game exhibition series that preceded the regular 1966 season.

I've occasionally seen stubs to this game, but full tickets to this game are indeed scarce. A neat souvenir from the expansion era Angels move to their permanent residence in Orange County, CA. Love the graphics on the 1966 Angels full tickets. This was the 1st year that I attended games at the "Big A".

BTW, I collect tickets to all Angels home tickets from the 1966 season if you have any to sell or trade.

Roster sheet for the Easton Dutchmen of the 1893 Pennsylvania State League. Also, an article from the Sunday Leader (Wilkes-Barre) 1893 season concerning a game between Easton and Allentown.

It has taken me a while to get this put together but it has been fun. I just received two tickets from Hunts last auction but I missed out on the 1916 Dodgers World Series pin in SCP. If anyone has anything that may fit in this please email me, thanks

Bob - Incredible stuff as usual. Question, what markings are on the small red enameled pin in the upper right corner? It looks just like this High School Champions pin that I have from 1914. Probably from the same maker.

Default Merry X-mas to my Joe Torre collection!!!

I know it is not super vintage, but I was so excited, I just had to post it.
Picked this up from another board member.
A 2006 game issued Joe Torre jersey. Signed in the number even.

Next to DiMaggio, Torre is one of my all time favorites. I have a great Torre card collection, and a game issued bat from his playing days, so this is going to look great next to those! I gotta get a nice frame for it!!!!

Default Some new stuff

All of these will be available shortly.

Trio of very large Chesterfield cardboard ads. Bucky Harris, Casey Stengal/Leo Durocher, William Bendix from The Babe Ruth Story.

Also

St Mary's Industrial School For Boys 1913 calendar showing the various baseball teams. Ruth was there on a team, but not in the photo unfortunately. Lots of his teammates are though.

I couldn't pass up this Stanford Pottery Bank with the sticker and date. I'm a Tigers fan, but I love figurals and the Chief Wahoo mascot is epic!

I have been on an All Star game pin kick of late

Default Chrstmas Gifts

Although my family doesn't understand my collection they always take care of me at Christmas. I have been wanting the 1960 fan for a long long time. They frequently are missing blades and the string. This one is complete This one was from my father who is responsible for my obsession with the Bucs. The Blass story ball, photo, and pennant were from my wife and kids.

Love these currency and what's cool about this one other than it having an advertiser from out West, is that it looks to be signed from Browning.
