Default 1963 Topps Mantle Mask/Wrapper Ad

Posted By: Dave Hornish

OK, there has been some limited debate on this previously but I am organizing some of my files and clippings and keep encountering references the mask/plaque/whatchamacallit was a premium offer on the side panel of high number wax packs.

I have yet to see a visual reference to this wrapper anywhere or seen any other information that pegs the Mantle as a Topps item. Can anyone show a scan of the wrapper or provide other evidence?

I would think it more likely the mask was advertised on Bazooka gum or some kind of non sports pack. I have to think a 63 high number wrapper is not all that hard to find some scans of.
