That's a lot of plastic! I was surprised to see the Jon Arnett in the poster has a white or yellow jersey, in contrast to the blue that was used on the one that is widely available. Is there a rare variation out there?

Hi Chris:

No, I don't believe an Arnett was ever issued in the white jersey as seen in the brochure. It is most likely a mock up used because the actual statue was not ready when they had to go to press with the brochure. Good eye to pick that up!

There are similar things in the early brochures with the Ruth and Mantle baseball statues. They are shown with white hats and a blue NY as opposed to the issued versions of the blue hat and white NY.

Best,

Fred

I'd say "WOW!, but that word is inadequate.

Don't know why the western statues are speaking to me, but if you're ever interested in letting any of them go, keep me in mind please.
