Default World Series Scorecard 1911?

Hello:

Picked this up off ebay. Was advertised as a 1912 world series scorecard but I assume it is 1911 since it is the giants and a's. Does anyone know anything about these? I bought it becasue of Wagner on the cover. Any help would be appreciated. Looks to be authentic.

Thanks,

Toby

Toby- it's not an official 1911 WS scorecard, but one issued by a local merchant. You see these from time to time.

Default Barry,

Thank you so much. I assumed it might not be the offical scorecard. I appreciate your help with it.

Thanks!

Default World Series Scorecard 1911

Toby,

I agree with Barry something you would pickup at the local sporting goods store before the game, still a neat looking item. They are referred to as score sheets or score books rather than scorecards.

And it is 1912. It shows the results of the 1911 series.

Interesting that Boston is listed as 1904 World's Champion because NY "declined play". That's one way of looking at it.

Default nice pick up

Nice pick up Toby. One with Cobb as the main player will most likely be in our next auction. These are larger than imagined.....
