Default Early Football Leather

Looking for help dating this football leather. I can't find it anywhere on the net. I know it is early by looking at the equipment. Has anyone seen these before or can you guide me to a spot where I could get more info. Any help would be appreciated.

I would date this to around 1900 to 1905 given the uniform and more importantly the noseguard in his hand. As to identifying it, I have no idea. When I first saw it, I thought it was likely a one of a kind unique item.

Between 1900 and 1910 is my guess.

Could be the back cover of a program for a game or banquet. Looks like piece missing on the inside piece of the football.

Or could be some type of display piece.

Have not seen if before.
