Default WTB - 1962 Jell-O

Looking for 1962 Jell-O baseball. They don't have to have full borders. Unless it is a super tough one, not looking for any with writing on the front or back. Let me know what you got!!

Tim

I know you do. You and I talked about the Mays before and I've been drooling over the others on Ebay for the last week. I have the Mathews, Aaron and Mantle all in PSA A and would love to own the ones you have. My problem is that I think of all the Jell-O I could get for that much money!! The Mantle is a little out of my price range at this point but I have been considering the Mays since I don't have one at all. I can't remember if we discussed what your bottom dollar might be on that one?? Tim

We might be able to work something out if that's what you are asking for the graded Mays!

I'm sorry, I thought I had replied. I have a Mantle. The Mantle and Clemente were my first two and the beginning of my quest for this set!

Right I saw that above you have it in Authentic, but were interested in numbered with full borders, and there are only 11 Mantles with a numerical grade from PSA, the highest being a PSA 5. If you change your mind and I still have it let me know.

Rumor has it Mickey was mostly on Apple flavored Jello which apparently didn't taste good and the company then decided to stop production on the Apple flavor so a lot of the Mickey boxes never made it to stores and into people's homes, it was also a regionally produced offering as Jello tested the market... I'm sure you may already be aware of this info... I have knowledge on Mickey, not so much on the Jello... I have been in the top 5 on the different Mantle Master Registry's over the years...

I am still contemplating the Mays since I need one. I'm just having a hard time getting past the indentation on the left boarder, I can't explain why. I do like the others, especially the Mathews and Aaron. My dilemma is still....so I spend quite a bit on a numerical grade when I can possibly get several raw cards for the same amount. I am trying to budget myself to, on average $250 a week. Obviously there are times I go over that, but when I can't find anything for a while, that $$ builds up, lol.

Dang, if that is true about the Mantles, being hard to find with boarders on them, then I did REAL GOOD on the one I picked up on here a month or so back, I loved the price on it, too ?

Default 62 Jello Mantle

It should be noted that Mantle also appeared on Chocolate Pudding and Coconut Cream Pudding boxes.

Default 62 Jell-O Mantle.

He was also on Butterscotch Pudding boxes too. It has been my observation that it is not tough to find 62 Jell-O Mantles. In fact he is very readily available. One still pays fairly high price for him though, because it is a Mantle card and thus the premium.

Finding him is not too tough, yet PSA shows only 55 ever graded by them, but finding him (and many others) with full borders is the difficult part, with only a handful receiving numeric grades.

Thanks to a couple board members and some other scrounging I've been doing, I'm down to needing 85 to complete the set. Still a LONG way off so if anyone has any they are looking to get rid of or willing to part with, let me know. Maybe we can work out a deal!
