Large silver print image of the 1920 "Akron Professionals". This team was the first professional football league champions (of the APFA which became the NFL). At lower right is Fritz Pollard, the Jackie Robinson of football, who was finally inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2005. |

Finally I have something "new"!! I just bought these at a local auction for $121. I missed out on (too chicken to bid more) 4 T207's including a Vean Gregg with Broadleaf back (sold for $17.50 each) and a T213 Cotton Type 1 of Bernhard (sold for $30). There was also a rough Delong of Urbanski ($7.50). |
