Looking For Help/Advice on Early 1900 Baseball Collection

I am going through and cataloging a collection of old baseball cards that were recently given to me from my father. The collection contains 1910-12 Sweet Caporal Pins (P2), 1909-12 Sweet Caporal Domino Discs, and 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders.

I have been doing as much research online as I can, but this site seemed like a good source. I have two general questions:

What is the best way to protect these items? Right now im using coin paper flips and top loaders. I cant seem to find cases/holders that fit these unique items.

Should I send these to PSA to get graded? Im not interested in selling now, but I am interested in completing the collection for the pins.

Step one, post some pics/scans of the cards you're talking about. That'll make it easier for people to hop onboard and offer salient advice.

ive never been a pin or disc collector myself...but whenever I've seen them those paper coin thingies seem to be commonly used and seem quite protective and ideal for them?

t202's in bigger top loaders or sheets.

I would NOT grade unless you're considering selling. I've never seen fake discs...or pins...but again I don't pay much attention to them...just never been for me.

T202's on the other hand...I love. You can also fold the ends over...as intended... for easier storing...but most will poo poo that from a standpoint of preserving condition.

I'd love to see some examples! Awesome to try to complete what your dad started! I know there are pin variations that are quite tough!

The coin paper flips and top loaders are the standard holders. Unlike cards, pins and coins are sturdy, so there much less concern about protection.

Unless you have a pressing need, there's no need to send them to PSA. Unless perhaps you have a spectacular card or coin.

I've always liked the various pins and coins, especially the Armour Coins. They're memorabilia that happen to fall into the card genre.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I attached some pictures of the pin/disc collection. I’m still in the process of uploading individual pics of the pins/dominos/T202s.

No storage advice, but it looks like you dad had a fine collection of pins, and they appear to be in pretty nice shape too...enjoy them!

For the P-2 set that I put together years back, I purchased a large butterfly display case and was able to get the whole set, plus a couple of miscellaneous pins at the end to fit nicely within the case.

I kind of like displaying them this way in order to be able to see the complete set altogether.
