Default Fake Larkin Auto?

I've never seen a Larkin auto that looks like this. Did Larkin sign differently early in his career, or is this a horrible fake?

I am no expert at Barry Larkin autos, but i do have one from 1985ish that i got myself when he was in double aa playing against the Reading Phillies.

They look kinda similar, but the B looks different to me. Yours has the big loopy L, however, like the example in question.

Here's a bat I had several years ago. Had his #15 on the knob in red. I figured it was from 1986.
