While I have a very strong personal/board policy of not deleting stuff, in favor of locking when necessary, when the original poster of the thread deletes everything they said, and puts "Please delete" in the title....I will usually do it. I have no idea what the original post was about as it was deleted before I saw it. I thought there was a neat looking T5 in the thread, otherwise. Hope this explains that deletion....regards |

for the explanation Leon. You may disregard my email when you get in the office tomorrow. I also emailed Dan to inquire with no response. Thought it might have developed into an interesting ON topic thread as I have a keen interest in the T5 Cabinets. |

T5 Young... Wonder if it would fetch 150K as the Jackson one did at auction last year? |

I agree...I was sorry to see the deletion of the initial post....but the board looks kind of crummy when you get the thread title of "please delete".....I hope everyone understands my position on deleting stuff..I rarely do it..unless it's just a stupid troll...then those get deleted as soon as I, or another moderator, sees them.... |

I'm sorry that I asked for it to be deleted, but the pic was from an ongoing auction in which I had the high bid at the time. Another Net54er emailed me and said that he did not think it was real....since I had a pretty substantial snipe to go along with my bid I wanted some confirmation whether the experts here thought it was real or a fake. Someone probably got an excellent deal, but the emailer left me with too much doubt to commit more than I did. |

Not that I'm an expert. But what looks fishy on it? I missed it completely but not sure what I would have bid on it anyway. |

I was told that the "name plate" is in a font that is not found on any other T5. Another suspicion was that it was coming from Ohio - the hotbed of fake cards -not to mention from a seller who does not sell cards and had no knowledge of the card. I knew it was uncataloged, but it seemed to make sense to me that the card number would be 628 since Lajoie was 627. It will be interesting to see if this thing ends up in a big house auction. |

The winner of the Young reads the board, though he posts rarely. I congratulate him on a very nice piece. |
