I don't think my Braves will be able to work the system this time around. I thought their opening offer to Freddie should have been higher. $27 Mil/ Yr is nothing these days. .

The MLBPA Executive Council voted 8-0 to refuse the deal, but were overruled by the players. The Union is so out of touch with the rest of the players. They thought the deal was fair and they wanted to play baseball.

I'm in the minority on this one . . . I don't mind it. Shouldn't start in the 10th but maybe 12th. Games are plenty long enough. At the point in my life where I don't appreciate 15 or more innings, and likely will be long asleep!
