Other sources besides ebay and online auctions

If we told you that, we'd have to kill you Checking yardsales and auctions can be worthwhile. I picked up a nice collection of Goudey's while checking out a garage sale. The family had a bunch od 80s cards for sale and this elderly lady in 80s asked what they knew about about older basbeall cards. I quickly jumped in and told her what I knew and went over to her pplace to see her husband's cards. Lots of 33 and 34 Goudeys with a few 35s. Sadly, no Ruth or Gehrig cards. I showed her a price, explained grading to her and I walked away with a few hundred Goudey's. |
