Default Obscure card?

Saw Cavs guard Darius Garland wearing this on the bench during a game the other day. Couldn't figure out what the "10cents" refers to. Was the image lifted from an obscure card maybe?

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

I recently purchased a postcard of Minnie Minoso that I thought, once received, would also have the lines like yours. I was thinking, as I don't know much about exhibits or postcards, it was just some sort of variation or something.

It still pains me to know there was a member here sometime ago who had one for sale for $30 dollars.
I drug my heels and it was gone about a week or so later.

A couple ended on GM cards within the last month and, IIRC, they went for around $400 and $600.

The one I saw at auction was in a lot of exhibits. I had the money, but was I bidding on another item and I wasn't sure what the the final price would be. The auction was set up to where 50 or so lots all closed at the same time. My desired lot closed for a very reasonable price, but then I had no time to bid on the Jackie. So I missed out.

We've reached the point now where ten cents can't even buy a ten cent stamp anymore.
Whoa! I think I just blew my own mind.

Hard to wrap my head around the fact that kids once pulled brand new '52 Topps high numbers out of wax packs for a nickel late in the summer of the year I first collected cards.

I forgot I even had this card, and always thought it was an odd one. It seems to depict the cartoonified Robinson making a throw from second base in 1947, when we know he only played first base his rookie year.
