Default **SOLD** 1938 Ted Williams Handwritten letter - Full PSA

$1,850 shipped

The link below has all the photos and information about the letter; however, it can only currently be purchased here. I have included a screen grab of the PSA page where it is used as a Ted Williams exemplar. I also ordered a full PSA letter which will be included. I do not own the photo shown below - I found it in a San Diego Newspaper and since it used my letter in the article, I thought it would look good here. There are actually two 1938 Ted Williams autographs included - one on the back of the envelope as well, as shown. The newspaper clipping was included by Ted in the letter to his friend, and comes with the letter, envelope and full PSA letter.

Ted-Williams 1938 Minneapolis Millers Handwritten Letter & Envelope

Terms: Paypal (regular), money order, cashier's check or personal check if I know you.

$1,800 shipped, Continental U.S.A only (48 contiguous states of these United States of America).

Thanks guys. We are looking at buying a house and I'm trying to scrounge up my share of the downpayment, thus letting go of a few items that I didn't expect to sell.

Prices lowered, as I am still too lazy to get my eBay listings going.

I collect handwritten items from baseball HOFers and politicians. This is an incredible piece. It's a bit out of my price range right now. But I am grateful that you shared it!

Thanks Robbieg.

I'll be pulling this from net54 later, but I wanted to say something that's long overdue: This is the only forum I've ever participated on where so many interested buyers have no idea what an item is worth and so many sellers have no idea what they want to get for their item. If you are a seller and don't know what your item is worth - run an auction or consign it. If you are a buyer and think an item is cool but have no idea what it's worth - do some research.

Assuming that a seller is doubling what he paid is nonsensical, even though it does happen. Telling me why my item is not so great, then offering a low number, is nonsensical. Asking me how low I will go, without making an offer, when I have quoted a price, is nonsensical.

That's it. I won't be responding to any more PM's that reflect the above attitudes. It's best for us all, as you wouldn't want to read my response.

Never got around to putting this on ebay, so here's a bump.

Reasonable offers considered. Thanks.

Thanks Rhys. I hope you are doing well. Once some cash frees up I will be all over your photo auctions again!

This is very unique and what a great piece. I went to the link to research it, and couldn't get it to work. Is there another place where the article might be housed?

...just one more post on this - I got a great price on it and all I'm doing is trying to break-even. I paid $1609.80, including shipping. I will sell it for $1625 - USPS insured.

If you offer me less than that you won't get a response, as the response is in the paragraph located directly above this one.

...and Happy New Year!

Scott, I have bought several pieces from you and agree you price your items more than fairly. Best of luck in the sale.
