Default Rose Compay PC's VS. Ramly's

Posted By: Dan Kravitz

Edited... Both Ramly and Rose Co have raised artwork, an area for a real photo to be placed, and distributed around the same time. Which do you prefer and why?

Original post... Can anyone tell me if the same real photos are used in the Ramly's and the Rose Co. PC's? Are the photos the same size? The cards were actually printed within a year or so of each other, so it makes sense.

If I had to choose one, I would take a Rose Co. I also think it should be worth more. The green color and raised artwork (bat, ball, diamond & players) on the Rose is more appealing than the ornate brown. Both cards are extremely attractive, but if I had to have just one, it's gotta be the Rose.

They at least look like baseball cards, the Rose Co.'s seem more a baseball game box top.....I must be one of the few who is not totally enamoured. Thank goodness there are issues I don't feel compelled to buy .

I have a Rose Company PC of Topsy Hartsel. There is no Ramly for Topsy Hartsel.
There is Ramly for Roy Hartzell Center Field, St. Louis AL. The card lists all
of Roys info on the front. The catch is the picture is of Topsy Hartsel. It
matches the Rose picture.
Can You Beat That?
