What is the conventional wisdom as to why the St. Louis Cardinals were not included in this set? What a bad year to be left out! Thanks.

I wish I had an answer for you! Until you mentioned it, I didn't even realize the Cards weren't included.

All 19 other teams made the cut, plus the all-stars. Baffling....

No Cardinals in the '67 Coke Caps either, I believe. Weren't the Dexter Press photos linked to Coke somehow? Maybe an Anheuser Busch distribution war with Coke?
