Default Babe Herman Hanna Batrite Georgia Driver Store Model Bat - $65 dlvd

35" Herman A 88 Georgia Driver with nice deep stampings. The Georgia Drivers and Beaver Drivers are often authenticated as pro models, but this is likely a store model due to the A (lower grade) wood. Handle crack with no nails, with about a half an inch by two inches sliver of missing wood under the tape. Mid-1930s example based on the lack of the bat (the winged animal) logo. PM if interested.

Wouldn't this be considered a store model based on the inch marks and just the letter A and not TA. Mears stated in a article that TA was professional wood while A was not professional grade wood and they haven't seen any that were used in the majors.

I might be confusing the Batrites with Zinn Becks but I thought inch marks on post-trademark stamp Batrites were ok. You're right about the A vs. TA. That slipped my mind. I'll amend the post as a store model and lower the price as soon as I get in front of my computer. Thanks for the input.
