Default Trashed Old Judges

My recent post selling a chunk of my Old Judge collection got me thinking....

I have a few cards that are beyond rough, but I could never sell because I love them too much. Their value to me far outweighs their monetary value.

My contributions....

Long John Ewing-tape completely covering it.
Jumbo Davis- roached out, taped, and if you look close there is even a "vintage hair" along with the tape job

Anyone else have any OJs like that?

If so, feel free to show them....

Thanks
Travis

So True!

Some cards you just take what you can get and worry about upgrading later, knowing full well that later may never come if the card is rare enough!

A couple of HOFers. People scoffed at my 2-piece McPhee... But I think it displays just fine, thank you. LOL!

Default Poor, but unaltered . . .

Bloodied, but unbowed.

[QUOTE=packs;2017814]How about a trashed Gypsy Queen?[QUOTE]

I always assumed my trimmed up Roger Connor card was an Old Judge, but then I showed it on here and found out it is actually a Gypsy Queen.

I love my best up collection of OJs of Iowa teams. Here are some of the beautiful bums residing in Iowa. I know the N173 isn't terrible, just a light print, pinholes and a bullet wound.
I just like showing it to people who would enjoy seeing.Enjoy..
