Default FS: 1909 Cabanas Emilio Palomino SGC 20 rare type card SOLD

Hey everyone,

Up for sale is a beautiful 1909 Cabanas of Emilio Palomino which has been graded an SGC 20. There aren't any major creases in the card, just a few hairline creases. The paper pull on the back of the card accounts for the grade, although as you can see in the scan, there is no paper loss. It appears that the card was once glued onto something and pulled off, causing a slight separation but not removing the paper from the card. The card is 100 percent in tact with no paper loss or marks of any kind. The print on the back is extremely bold and the image on the front is clear, crisp, and extremely colorful despite being 100 years old. The Cabanas are extremely tough type cards to come by.

A little on Palomino: My research shows that Palomino was a bonafied star in his era, winning two batting titles and beating out teamate and MLB HOFer Pete Hill for one. He was also elected to the Cuban HOF in 1957.

Price: SOLD
