Went over with Ruthie last night her need list for her 65 Topps Football set. Please look over her list. I have lined out what cards she has and or cards that are on the way. Thanks guys and will keep this updated to show when she receives a card

Congratulations on Ruthies Set! I only wish I could have contributed something to it

Its so nice to see card collecting happening the way it was meant to be,
Bringing friends and family together and enjoying this hobby at its very
essence.

Im kind of jealous because neither of my two children (Jaidy 7) or (Jace 9)
have shown any real interest in sports card collecting, and certainly not vintage cards of, what my son Jace calls "Pictures of old men"

On the up side Pokémon cards rule their world and that's a start.

Thank you John........she is so very excited about the set which makes me excited about it. I told her I would grade every card and that seems to be the most expensive part of it all but for her its worth it. Picked up the last few I needed from Greg Morris.

Ruthie has been doing real good lately..........we just celebrated her 11th Birthday this weekend. She has had a great time and her spirits are high. I am awaiting her last cards back from SGC to complete her 65 Topps set which will be in her hands soon.

Her friends have been very supportive. I want to thank each one of you guys for the prayers, support and help with her set.

Are you heading into other 'Tallboys" i think i saw a post here or in SGC on a Hockey one. You planning on doing it? Personally i love seeing football cards...i basically threw all mine into album/binders and left them collecting dust..cant even remeber what years i have as i moved into baseball/Mantles

Yeah Chris, we both like the 64-65 Topps Hockey tall boys quite a bit. I guess its the color and the look of em.........may take a shot working on this set very very slowly. I just don't see many of these cards around here as hockey isn't very popular around my area.

Here are a few more scans. We have our last 30 card submission at SGC right now and should pop either tomorrow or Tuesday. It is the higher grade ones that I sent it for Ruthie but here are few that I wanted to show for her. Neat to have your little one on the boards with you. I will have to talk to Leon to see if I can get her a login id for this net54 site as she loves cards as much as the rest of us.

My favorite 1965 card is probably Ernie "The Cat" Ladd. I love the menancing look of the card and Ernie was quite the player and a great heel wrestler. He was gold on the microphone.

yeah I love that card too. I picked the card up in a PSA 8OC holder and sent it in to SGC. Its beautiful but as you can see O/C. Wanted a nice one of him for Ruthie.
