Default Wagner Cigar Band

Are they worth anything?? Found one in a picture box at an antique shop and wanted to see if it was worth buying. Are there any repo's out there and if so whats the differences?? Found a link to REA for one but that was a while back.

Andrew,

Yes, there are well-made reprints out there of the Wagner cigar bands. The key is the circle of dots around Wagner's image. These were created by the embossing process. Real bands should show the embossing from the reverse. The reprints show the dots on the front, but no actual embossed areas on the reverse side.

Yep as soon as I got it out I could feel the paper and see the inkjet dots. Plus I think the actuall label is like a t205 boarder right?
