I don't participate in the packs/boxes anymore, have not for years. However that embedded video with all the guys racing to card section makes me a little embarrassed to be a collector, even though that is nothing like me. It's pathetic.

That is what money does to a hobby.

Wow, but I guess not much surprises me anymore these days with the hobby.

Thanks for the link.

I read that article also. Not surprised by anything in it. Greed is bad on any level including baseball cards.

You can buy some on the website now. I bought 3 blasters of 2021 Bowman last week. No elbows. No running.

I did the same thing. I read that Target had over 100,000 Bowman blasters sold last Friday. That’s a lot of trees.

I am kind of let down by the retail auto list but would be nice to snag an Austin Martin retail exclusive parallel.

I can almost hear people complaining about the product being, "too easy to get" and why it's such a "bad investment."

Online, I was actually able to get some a few hours after they were on the site. But if it's basketball or football then those are gone within seconds. Only thing I've found in stores easily lately is Heritage and Opening Day

If you have a Barnes & Noble store near you it's worth checking out. I went in last week and found it stocked full of Bowman and Donruss Diamond Kings baseball. I never see football or basketball on the shelves in my area anywhere.

Hey Guys, new guy on the forum but an old collector.

This was the kind of stuff that chased me from the hobby 10-12 years ago, the greed as the stupid behavior of "collectors/investors".

It was really embarrassing and disillusioned me on the hobby. I'm still a huge baseball fan and will buy the occasional pack but gu bats and jerseys have stuck with me when a bargain comes up.

Found this forum so hopefully you guys can get me excited about the hobby again.
