I'm not an expert on this set, but the T214s were printed four years after t206s. I don't think they followed the T206 print groups.

I recall Tim making this point about the T213 and T215 sets, and I think it holds true for the T214s as well. Sorry, I can't find that thread.

I'm not sure myself, but in my mind they're all in the Greater T206 neighborhood.

Thanks Sean. I was aware of the 1915 date for T214 but I am not one who hesitates to fire away with the questions when something pops into my head! It makes perfect sense that there isn't a match and if there was one I suspect someone would have figured it out. To quote the bank robber from Dirty Harry "I gots to know."

Pete, I was wondering the same thing myself (though I love T213-1 so don't mind it too much).

Well, just to be safe and since this is my thread, I fully authorize everyone to hijack it with any T cards after T212 .

Nice cards Bruce, especially like the Red Cross Meyers. That's always been a favorite pose of mine. That was one of the few Meyers Portraits that eluded me.

Ted, great cards as well. My best to you and your family.

Default Thanks for the info

Rick and others,
Thanks for some information on these rarer t sets. It sounds as if Rick' s estimates fit in with others' thinking. Great to see so many awesome looking Victory backs!

Beautiful cards. Only thing I can add is I'd love to add a Victory and a Red Cross to my collection, so if you're a seller, I'm a buyer.

Hi Phil. I recently sold my extra t214 (a bender) and my extra t215 (Marquard throwing). Now all I have is one example of each. You know I like having an HOF example of most rare type cards…

Salt in the wound my friend...
But I take the Buddhist approach, my cards will come to me when they're ready. That and when my budget allows.

Default T214 & T215s

Here are my lone examples. Would love to trade my T214 for one of a Phillies or A's player if, by some miracle, there's one out there available for trade.

Fantastic cards everyone. I have looked at this thread a few times in the past but glad to see some new posts/cards in it. I dream of getting a WaJo of either back some day.
