So you actually pay less when consigning with Probstein than if you list it yourself on eBay.

There's a lot of other issues that get mixed up in here, but having to pay a higher fee if you consign to Probstein (compared to just listing it yourself) is not one of them.
This is my understanding as well.

Thatís correct. The eBay fee is 13-14% and Probstein is only 10%, so itís actually cheaper to sell with Probstein in many cases. You do lose out on your shipping costs to Probstein, however.

I save money when I use him. He must negotiate a much better fee through eBay. I have never had a problem with him buying or selling.
And I donít have to fool with all the eBay idiots. He does that for me.

How fast were your cards listed? Did you get the price you wanted? How are the fees? How fast was payout?
Graded stuff received on a Monday thru Thursday is usually listed by the end of the next evening. Sometimes by the end of the night on the day they receive them. Raw stuff can take a couple months to get listed unless valuable stuff.
