Default New Member - Hello!

Hey everybody, new member here. My name is Rob, and I just want to hi, and to say that these forums and those that contribute to them are absolutely invaluable. I've already learned a ton having only been here for a couple days!

I'm in the market for any and all low to medium grade to206s, as well as raw, and anything pre war Boston Americans/Red Sox, especially Tris Speaker. Being a Canadian, I am also interested in vintage Hockey, mostly Boston Bruins.

Thanks in Advance, Rob.

Welcome to the board. How did you become a Boston sports fan being up north? Just curious.

I'm on the West Coast, and in the 80s the Vancouver Canucks were mostly terrible, and everyone cheered for the dominant Oilers. I didn't want to bandwagon the Oilers, so I bandwagoned the Bruins instead. Eventually that lead to the Red Sox and baseball.

Hi Rob, I'm not a Boston collector, but I do collect Tris Speaker. You can find cool stuff on this board to purchase... it's an addiction. Welcome to the board.

Isnt Boston awfully overrated?

And who is this Speaker fellow y’all keep taking about...?

Anyway, welcome to the board from one relative newbie to another

Welcome Rob.

I have some older Boston cards, mainly Bobby Orr, in my link below.
Just in case you didn't know, if you scroll down near the bottom, there is also a dedicated hockey section that I'm sure you'd enjoy.
