Default ??? What's Fair Price for Bench RC Collector Grade

I had the opportunity to buy a Bench RC in collector grade today at an antique shop. 4 rounded corners and a stain on the back, but no noticeable creases. I figured a TPG would give it a 1.5 or 2. Consignor was at $85+tax, and the clerk said the seller wouldn't budge on price. I had no clue about fair value. I walked away only because with the other items I had it was outside the budget. So, anyone have any idea. I know the market is beginning to cool again.

Good to know. I looked on ebay for sales comps and prices seem to be all over the place.

There are two versions of the 1968 card. In the first line of the bio on the back there is usually a “the Reds” but in some versions it is “tne Reds”. The latter recurring print defect is starting to pick up a premium
