Default 1994 Finest Pre-Production Exchange Cards

Wanting to make sure my 1994 Topps Master set remains a Master Set, I saw these recently on eBay - meant to snatch it up but while I was sitting at my computer watching the clock count down, I got caught up in an interesting video on YouTube...senior moment.

Anyway, these Pre-Production redemption cards - can someone confirm these were issued in 1994 Topps regular issue packs? I had never seen them before.

Sure looks like a wrong back issue, since those are redemptions for the Topps Black Gold cards, not finest.

Wow, I think I remember these. I worked in a shop at the time and I can recall seeing that front. But I don’t recall there being specific numbers or players listed on back. I’d completely forgotten about these until now.

To clarify - the lot was 2 of the preproduction redemption cards and 2 black gold winners - these are 4 cards.

Here's the image of the backs:

Ah, you definitely confused me showing the fronts of the Black Gold redemptions in the same shot; looks like I'm not the only one. I don't recall seeing the Pre-Production redemptions before. Maybe they were store incentives or magazine inserts rather than pack inserted?

Yep, made an assumption and was tricked by the scan. I have never seen those before myself.
