There was a pretty hilarious thread about this card in February of last year:

My favorite comment:

It could explain why it is almost impossible to find a "Joe Jackson" autograph and why there are so many "Babe Ruth" autos out there."

You guys are being way too tough. Remember, Joe Jackson never had any formal schooling, so I believe the autograph on the card is simply his uneducated attempt to spell his own name.

Sure seems like he was hit with a lucky stick....too bad it did not knock him the heck out.

In this instance, I believe he (or a predecessor) subscribes to the old adage "You make your own luck."

Why would you say "You can't make this stuff up" when clearly the whole premise is that someone DID?

He's got the decimal in the wrong place. Seriously, I might buy it for $1.10 with free shipping.

Sent it to EBay to get graded. I didn’t know EBay was grading cards. I think he’s living in bizarro world.

This is an authentic Babe Ruth signature. The signature is actually on a 1940's prototype of a plastic card holder sleeve, utilizing a prototype Sharpie marker, and originally contained an authentic 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth card within.

At some point, some shady character switched out this authentic Ruth card for a replica T210 Joe Jackson, which of course has obviously caused a lot of fear and confusion amongst the collector masses.

Rest assured, fellow fearfully confused collector...your money can only multiply like bunnies if you buy said replica Joe Jackson card with bonus authentic Card Holder Ruth signature.

Brian (please check out the T206 Honus Wagner I found when demolishing old homes to make room for apartments. The card can be seen in my completed listings as it has sold, but I did find another one in slightly better shape which I will list shortly)

What is truly odd is that I have a 1979 George Brett signed by Babe Ruth also that I found while plumbing. The pride of my collection for sure.
