Default OT: Why Modern is sooooooo funny

I had to share this with you guys. I think this takes the cake of all "errors", whether labeling, names, etc.

Happy weekend!

What is weird about this apparent mistake is that the Thomas signature is on a clear sticker, which
I assume means UD paid the person to sign the sticker and received it from the player (Modern card
companies often have the players sign sticker sheets, with the individual stickers applied to the card).
Similar mixups I've seen involved old cuts purchased from independant dealers.

Luckily for the owner, the Frank Thomases have similar autograph values.
A Tex Cobb for Ty Cobb would be different story.

Upper Deck did the same thing on at least two different versions of Tony Gwynn Jr cards this year. They used Tony Gwynn (Sr)'s autograph on the Tony Jr cards.

Its sad when these mistakes occur. They sadly happen all too often in modern cards. UD needs to find a way to buy that puppy back quick. I liken this to grading issues I've seen pointed out here when people question a PSA or SGC grade. I'm still wrestling with BGS over a mislabeled card (wrong year)
