Hopefully, Jolly is taking a month off, sitting in a lounge chair on the beaches of Miscut Island with a cocktail in his hands choosing between which OC9 he's taking back to his hotel room that night.

From looking at his profile, he hasn't logged in since late August, and his last post was a few days before then.

I hope he's ok; these days, when someone drops off the radar like that, you never know.

It's troubling to say the least. I hope he is simply just incarcerated. That's better than the alternative. Everyday posters don't simply disappear for a month.

WTF, you hope he's incarcerated? LOL.... I mean that is kind of drastic. There are at least a few alternatives other than incarceration or death (God forbid).....

I've noticed there are always a couple formerly-frequent posters who have gone quiet. Most of them come back, some don't. Whether the ones who don't have found other forums, lost interest, or gone off to the great card show in the sky is beyond me.

PS - Please include a “collectorism” for an OC card that is deceptive due to t/b or design oddity - that kind of thing. We discussed briefly in a postwar pickup thread I think a few months back…

Count me among those who are glad to see you're alive and not in jail (or kidnapped, stranded on a mountain, etc.)

Best wishes for a quick recovery.

Glad to hear that all is (pretty) well!

And really glad to hear that you aren't in the slammer - I can't imagine a fella who has this two-foot tall tattoo on his chest would fare very well there.

I'm going to publish a book on my stay at San Quentin. The early title idea is "Cardboard is the New Black."

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

That tat pairs nicely with the new black teardrop tattoo under my eye.
