Griffey and I are basically the same age. He was the first person I followed from pre MLB hype to retirement. He was and still is my favorite. I am planning a trip to Cooperstown next year to see him during his inevitable induction. He truly is a classy person during an age of baseball that produced so few. Thank you for posting the article.

The swing was great! He was the player i idolized when i was growing up.
