Default Have you ever counted how many cards you own?

I can only imagine what a daunting task that would be. Pretty much everyone here is probably approaching six figures if not way over.

For grins and giggles I checked how many different base cards Topps has produced from 1951 - 2022. Care to take a guess?

The answer is 46,027. That's just base cards for the flagship set. Adding all the other sets, inserts and related products they produced I would hate to think how many total they made.

Bowman released 1,884 different cards between 1948-1955

If anyone wants to count their collection just go for everything else you have and add those two numbers to it. Might make it a bit easier

I have a very specific checklist of about 800-850 cards I want to own, I have between 725-750 currently. And every thread needs a card.

I'm certain that I counted them all, it would have been when I was about 9 years old and it would take have taken less than a minute.

I doubt I could even find all of my cards, I've stashed a few here and there about the house and other places. I could maybe find most of them in a week, if I wasn't doing anything else.

I've thrown out more monster boxes filled with 1988 thru 1993 than I can count.
