Default Strange Error Card, wrong back, anybody know about this one?

Hey board members, my 1st post I'm looking for any info on this card. Bought it in the late 80s at a show. Yes its a 79 topps with a 78 back. Is it rare? Can I get it slabbed? Anybody know a roundabout value? I couldn't find anything like it.

They are scrap that got backdoored in full sheets and hand cut into individual cards. There usually some on eBay. I have sold a few for $5-$20 each depending on player.

Edit to add welcome to the board.

Thanks for the info you guys are great. Been collecting a long time, and never saw another one. I guess being a hand cut card, and not a regular issued card, psa wouldn't slab it?

PSA might slab it as Authentic but it would be a waste of money in my opinion.

I wonder why they quit grading them. I know they used to as there are several on eBay now.

Here's a PSA graded card with a wrong back:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960-Fleer-8...item2c954af265

There's also several other "wrong back" 1960 fleer cards that have been recently graded by PSA (within the last year or so).

That card is the exception to the rule, I'm sure they will gladly grade any of the three 1960 Fleer cards that have the #80 Pepper Martin back with the Lefty Grove, Joe Tinker, or Eddie Collins front.

Default That is not a standard

wrong back card, and they have graded that since the late 1990's.

They have also graded a 1960 Fleer Hughie Jennings card with a Connie Mack back, a Honus Wagner with a Marty Marion back, a Lefty Grove with a Rabbit Maranville back as well as several others. It's not just the #80 card...
