1970 Dayton Daily News Willie Mays Variations

Happy Friday Everyone!

I'm curious if anyone has any information about listings for 1970 Dayton Daily News Variations? I recently submitted two to PSA, thinking that one may have been from 1970 and the other from 1971, given different stat lines. Both, however, came back as 1970.

My thought is that there perhaps should be two variations:
- 1970 Dayton Daily News Willie Mays Hand Cut 1969 Stat Line
- 1970 Dayton Daily News Willie Mays Hand Cut 1970 Stat Line

Please see pics attached and let me know if anyone has thoughts or information.

I don't know enough about them to tell you what they are, but I can see clearly enough to tell you what they are not - THE SAME! PSA doesn't know their ass from their elbow around most of these kinds of issues and variations. Good luck finding more info on them.

The Will Mays was printed 4/11/1970 and 4/9/1971

I verified this by going through microfilm at the Dayton library over a few days just to prove I'm a crazy checklister.

The Will Mays was printed 4/11/1970 and 4/9/1971

I verified this by going through microfilm at the Dayton library over a few days just to prove I'm a crazy checklister.

The unknown #196 in your amazing 1970-71 Dayton Daily News Bubble-Gumless checklist is Bob Matheson, Columbia City Collectibles has had one for quite a while.

Yes Perez and Bench had special insert in the all star section 7/11/70 makes them and Rose have 3 variations each
