Default I thought this was a reputable seller "Chefmint"

I don't know if this is a place to voice a concern over an eBayer that I thought would be a reputable seller but....

It's been over a month, I have sent numerous e-mails with no answer. I paid with a money order and never rec'd the card.

Has anyone else has this similar of an experience ? What can I do ?

I have never done business with this seller, but looking at his feedback, I would have been a bit cautious. He has several recent negatives (from both sellers and buyers) and many of the positives reflect that he either doesnt communicate and/or ships slowly. At least its not too much money and hopefully you will eventually get your card.

I have done business with Gene M. (that's his name) a few years ago and everything was fine. He collects type cards and sells some too. Looks like he has had some issues lately. I have met him a few times and he seems ok.......but the recent feedback is not good. I have not done anything with him in a few years. He's the one I got my first T216 Virginia Extra from....good luck ...hopefully it will all work out.....

Looks like a good thing I didn't win the auction.

Leon is right his name is Gene, I met him at the National a couple of years ago. I also have not had any dealings with him for a couple of years. I hope everything works out. I think you can get phone numbers thru ebay if you have a completed auction. You might want to try that.

perhaps seller ran into time of financial troubles, and stopped performing as he should. I have also noticed, when I look up negative feedback, that there is some goldarned way of HIDING some of it--a person may have negative feedback listed, but it doesn't shopw up in thr actual feedback; also, if you are tracking a person whom you know has a good deal of negative feedback, this negative stuff may suddenly DISAPPEAR--from everything! From both the numbers and the actual feedback!

So even a few is bad news, especially a few recently, especially if they alol tend in the sdame direction, can be really bad news...

Think how hesitant you would be to leave even one person even one negative--and they acquire added significance!

Last year I won an old judge card lot from him and it took 2 months to get it, but it did eventually come and everything was as described. I seem to remember an excuse about computer troubles or something but same situation.

Like I siad, they DID eventually come though so have hope.

I've sold to him, bought from him, outside of ebay at potential risk of big bucks to both of us at times, with no problems. I also met him at the National in Chicago and he's pleasant and an avid collector.

So...I would get his contact info and call him - I'm sure there's an explanation for the recent behavior.
