Default Elmer Flick photo question - where are they?

So Flick was good enough to get into the HOF. Detroit offered Cobb for him in a trade. He played on Cleveland teams that had Lajoie, Joss, Young, etc. There are plenty of photos of Lajoie and other Cleveland players from his teams floating around the hobby from dispersion of some newspaper archives. Can anyone tell me why there are so few Flick photos available?

Thanks,

Eric

In eight years of selling vintage photographs from newspaper archives and major collections, we have found exactly ONE original image of Flick. This is especially weird in context of our company handling both the NEA archive and the Cleveland Plain Dealer, both based out of Cleveland and containing photos going back to the 1890's. I am convinced he never actually existed and was just a hoax perpetrated by Vladimir Putin

Any truth to the rumor the Elmer Flick is related to Phil Bickford?
