Default Help with a antique football fob

Hi all..... I just obtained this fob and I'm trying to figure out the team. I believe it's a 1899 University of Chicago Maroons fob due to the yellow M. There's also a person on the back with a C on his sweater that matches the Maroons C they used.
I'd appreciate any feedback or information that you may have. Thanks in advance.... Ed

Looks to be the 1903 Michigan team on one side and Chicago on the other. Potentially a souvenir from their game on November 26 at Marshall Field in Chicago. Awesome piece!!

Thanks guys!! I think you're right about it being a souvenir from the 1903 Michigan-Chicago game. I didn't even consider it being 2 different teams. The front side definitely is the 1903 Michigan team. The coach matches and the player on the fob at 11:00 matches the 2nd player from the right in the front row in the photo as well.
Great detective work, mystery solved. I appreciate the help. Thanks again.

Yep. The player at 11:00 is College Hall of Famer Willie Heston. Coach Fielding Yost is at 4:00 and trainer Keene Fitzpatrick at 12:00. Collectibles of the 1901-04 Michigan “Point a Minute” teams are highly desirable. I’ve seen similar fobs like this sell for around $1000. Congrats on a great find!!

Thanks for all your help. I'm not a football collector so I didn't really know what I had.

If anyone is interested in this fob, it's in the new Robert Edwards auction. It's Lot 2583. It started today and ends December 6th. Opening bid is $200.00

Good Luck !!
