Default Approximate Value Help - T205s + T206 Without Red Ink

Hey everyone, I found a few things I may be interested in buying. But, I'm no expert on these sets. So, I was wondering if you could give me your opinions.

First, there are five old album pages with tobacco cards adhered to both sides of each page.

There are eleven T205 cards, all Philadelphia Athletics, including Bender, Baker, and Collins (closed mouth, white elephant).

There are also several T218 Champions cards. The other pages contain various non-sports cards.

Do you think the T205s seem legitimate based on the photo provided? What do you think the value might be?

Obviously there is chipping, the Bender clearly has a crease from someone lifting up a corner, and we don't know the back advertisements. If legitimate, I assume all would just grade as authentic if graded due to inevitable paper loss.

Next, I can't quite pin down what value a T206 missing red ink may have. Here is one alongside the normal version.

I couldn't find a comparable example. Do you think these seem legitimate? Would there be any premium on one missing red ink?

My searches online and on here didn't turn up much, other than a thread saying companies may have stopped grading them at one point.

I would take a flyer on them for a bargain price. They look pretty nice, and might soak well. It's not really my type of project, though. I think most collectors think missing red ink means natural wear. Good luck!

T cards with glue stains/evidence on the back (like this Herzog) are often “missing red”. They did not leave the factory this way. 90%+ of ‘missing red ink’ T cards are just damaged. It’s pretty easy to remove or reduce red on these cards. They often command a price premium anyways from people who want to believe.

Thanks for the tips on the missing ink T206. I'll probably pass on that because I was less interested in that than the T205s, but figured I'd ask.

If I end up going after the T205s I'll probably try giving them a soak. I was reading other threads here about that process.

For the record, the Scrapbook Lot containing the T205s sold for $1250 with the juice, but not shipping...

A bit rich, I thought because of the "What If They DON'T Soak... Just saying...

Opinions?

I did not end up the buyer. It seems like an overpay to me.

Maybe they break even if they soak them well, only grade the couple HOFers, and they grade okay. Not worth my money.

Someone is betting on a clean soak and a high grade for that money. Also there just may be a variation on one of them cards. Just FYI
