PS - a lot of the cards had "MK" qualifiers. Some I am seeing. A lot of them, I am not. You can argue for the "ST" qualifier on some instead of "MK". Most I am dumbfounded. The low grade is SUPPOSED to incorporate some mild staining. EVERY single 1933 Goudey Indian card got a "MK" qualifier??? I think not. I will send some scans when I get home.

Maybe WST or bleedthrough now being counted as MK?

I cannot find the alleged mark, but do see a pinhole. I did not think pinhole cards could receive a grade higher than a 2. The majority that I own, which are in great shape other than a small pinhole, usually receive a 1.5. So, I guess a 3 is the highest a pinhole card can receive or was this a mistake?

While it has the look of a pinhole, it doesn't break thru. I would call it more like an "indentation". I got others with the "MK" mark without the mark if you want to see others.

Did you try looking at them under black light? There are a couple of stray dots on the edges of the cards, one of which could be a pen point. I think if there was any recoloring of the red field at the bottom front (where the indentation is), that they would have given that an ALTERED.

Definitely looks like a pinhole. There is a matching ,ark on back and dark spots on back near bottom... I think a 3 is good!

Faint smiley face above the CH in the left hand corner, back side.
