I'm fairly certain that's a publicity still of him from the 1951 Richard Widmark film Halls of Montezuma.

I did some searching and it is a still from the John Wayne movie "The Sands of Iwo Jima". There's a bunch of pics on the net from that movie of him wearing that tattered Marine helmet camo cover.

Wow, Adam12...I haven't thought about that show in years. It started in 1968 which was the same year I started Little League, so it brings back some great memories.

11 years later he would appear in a classic Twilight Zone episode...

He was also in the movie "Sands Of Iwo Jima" with John Wayne.

I remember the "Life Of Riley." The first year starred Jackie Gleason.
