I just picked up my first N300.

Thanks to Dave on the B/S/T.

After having it in my hands, I am convinced that I have to start collecting N300s and N302s.

Joe, the image on your N300 is spectacular...still have not taken the plunge for the Poe?

Finally got an E96 Detroit player. I have Davis and Pfeister, but no DTW's before now. Shoot, since I have 10% of the set I might as well try to collect it? lol

Nice Jackson, Jeff. That one must have set you back a bit...by the way, I listened to WABC for about an hour Monday morning but never heard your name mentioned. There are too many commercials. If you have twin daughters then I did hear you (or it was someone else). But Led Zeppelin was beckoning on Q104.3, so I had to switch back.

Dan, yes, I decided on those two instead of the Texas Tommy (now you know why I posted that quasi-rhetorical question about that card and the CJ Jackson). In the end, I had to decide was I buying for investment purposes or personal pleasure and in the end decided that I just love that CJ Jackson, end of story. And that Cobb helped as well in making the decision..

Barry, I was on from 5:30 to 10am and yes the commercials are ridiculous. Twin boys, by the way. I'll be on for a few days in Feb and I'll let you know.

This just came today. It is not Charlie Smith (it is Hall of Famer Bobby Wallace) and it is not a 1. Way to go PSA! Already cracked out and on its way to SGC.

Quan, thanks -- ultimately I decided to collect the players I love and focus less on dropping large cash on high end, low pop commons just to complete a set. For me, I found that I rarely would spend time looking at those commons once they were hunted down. In contrast, I've spent way more time with some of my recent purchases than any cards since my childhood.

a koteles evers and a Lajoie. I was watching Barret-Jackson replay at 3am and thought if that guy can go 185,000 for a 72 dodge charger I can pay 1200 for an e106 evers..

I wanted to post this one because there was a thread about T210s not long ago talking about the scarcity of the "orange border" variations. This was a welcome addition to my set and the first orange I have owned.

Two more (with two others in transit):

The scan of the Lavender card does not do the background justice. The yellow is so bold that Jimmy seems to leap off the card. Absolutely stunning.

Also got an E90-1 Jackson in an SGC 20 holder, but cannot find the scans for that one and a few other pickups. The SGC 30 Jackson was actually from the Dec. Mastro auction.

Scotty- that Jackson would nicely complete my E-90-1 set. Are you planning on selling/trading it in the future?

My goal is to get a dozen (three rows of four cards) for an oak display in my den over the pool table. Plus, I am only looking for cards in grades 1-3. So, you won't have any competition on the 4's and above!

Anyone with 157 E94's shouldn't even worry about an ugly Jackson card anyway!
