Figured there is a few days to get a few more pickups in. Here is a couple more to make picking up anything in the auction's ending in a couple days that much harder for me now...

Eric,

Great looking N172! Did you decide to go back to the OJs after your venture into the white borders? Just curious.

Best Regards

Craig...

I've decided to focus only on really high quality OJs.

This Trott looks like a perfect candidate for PSAs bump to an 8.5

Hey DK,

How many examples of the Demaree Ruth are out there? Is it unique? There are only 2 known examples of the Sports Co. of America Ruth with the 1927 Copyright.

DK (the real one?) and I were talking this morning. I totally forgot about that 1927 Ruth or I would have razzed him about it. Had it not been for King I would have gotten a great buy on it .....

Anthony- nice pick up...I have the other halves if interested...

Hey Leon,

Had I replied to King in a timely manner on the card's specifics he would of gone higher!

If you consider the placement of "Nationality" on its reverse it is truly a unique specimen. Soooo Leon, how could you FORGET about owning so rare a RUTH!

I guess that's one of the reasons the Sports Company of America cards have never received full hobby attention, even the rare examples of baseball's greatest are forgettable.

I think I forgot because I am an addict...hopelessly addicted....It is a great card though....I guess it is probably one of the rarest Ruth cards in existence....

Thanks for the kudos on the cards; the mystery card is from a 1930s Vancouver peanut card set.

Ended up baby sitting this little fellow 'til 1am last night. One of the non-six figure cards from the Goodwin Auction.

Mike, Danny thanks. That W600 is my favorite Chase ever.

William, great Oxford Cobb. An underrated card with a great image. I got mine in last year's REA.

Thanks, Turner! Unfortunately there's heavy back damage, which probably explains why I got it for $20. I'll take it!
