Default The curious case of ebay bidder Nuxhall406

With the recent "run up" of card prices, one begs to ask "are they legit sales"?

Any dealings with this particular buyer?

Here are 3 items that were relisted

1952 topps Geroge crowe, seller Horvito

high bidder masked as 6**6(revealed as nuxhall406) requested to cancel the order. Said his six year old kid bid on it by accident. from seller " I have a hard time believing his story, but he never paid for it so I guess there’s not much I can do about it except re-list the card". That’s why I made it buy it now this time. Thanks"

1952 topps Ed blake (possible gray back) seller icucards2

high bidder masked as 6**6. (Revealed as Nuxhall406) requested return as there was an ink mark on back, clearly shown in scan. ( IMO When in hand determined wasnt a gray back, and capitalized on ebay policy)

1952 topps lot seller arodcollector

High bidder masked as 6**6 (revealed as nuxhall406) requested partial refund saying they were in good shape. Per the seller " he tried to keep them and have me send a refund so he (would end up having to) pay very little for them."
(Unbeknownst to the seller. He had 2 high numbers in the group. buyer trying to score them on the cheap)

LOL, at my 6 year-old bid on it by accident. Must be going around Ebay a lot. I blocked a guy just last month who cancelled a bid last minute because "his kid was playing with his phone".

Different bidder name though.

I agree. I had listed a gray back, with a deliberately misleading title to try and drag him out of the woodwork. It worked, and I was emailed by the buyer askiing "If I could end early because his nephew needed it". Albeit for 10% of the going sales price!

UNbelievable
