I've been using EBay as a research source and came upon this auction.

I'm skeptical of course but curious.....

I've done my share of buying and selling on EBay. Would anyone spend that kind of money from someone with no feedback, even if it was real?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of miner stain it has, whether it's coal, iron ore or something else.

If you can sue a band for making you want to commit suicide, can I sue Barry Manilow for turning me into a wuss in the 70s?

Was there a free listing day again on ebay? If not, what would the listing fee be on $100,000????

I don't think it costs extra (at least nothing material) to have an opening bid of $100,000. It's when you have a reserve it can cost you up to $100. But with some of these guys, it crosses my mind to "buy it" and then pull a Sergio and convince the seller "I'm good for it. I'm good for it." Then when Dad gets the credit card bill for the $2,500 sellers fee, the little fella would have some splaining to do. But in reality, this seller is not as bad as some that are just pure scammers. This sale isn't even creative enough to call it a scam.

No it does cost more the higher the starting bid, but I am sure the majority of the fees are made after the sale with final value fees.

Here is the listing price breakdown.
$0.01 – $0.99 $0.25
$1.00 – $9.99 $0.35
$10.00 – $24.99 $0.60
$25.00 – $49.99 $1.20
$50.00 – $199.99 $2.40
$200.00 – $499.99 $3.60
$500.00 or more $4.80

So this schmuck paid 4.80 to waste his time with this card - unless it was some ebay special.

Keith
